Hallmarking ek aadhikarik (official) certificate hai jo Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) dwara set kiya gaya hai. Ye is baat ki 100% guarantee deta hai ki jo gold ya silver aap kharid rahe hain, usme utni hi shuddhata hai jitni jeweller bata raha hai.

April 2023 ke naye niyamon ke anusar, har hallmarked gahne par ye 3 nishan hona anivarya (mandatory) hai. Inke bina hallmark adhoora hai.

1. BIS Logo

Ye pramanit karta hai ki gahne ki testing ek aadhikarik (official) BIS recognized lab mein hui hai. Ye triangle shape ka logo bharose ka prateek hai.

Ye gahne mein sone ki shuddhata batata hai. Jaise 22K916 ka matlab hai 22 Karat sona jisme 91.6% pure gold hai. Other grades are 18K750, 14K585.
